Albeit in all sincerity, we believe in the criticality of planning, rigour of execution corrodes our planning time. A paradox but true. Whilst clarity is critical to planning, the world around us is becoming more and more uncertain. Success in the future will belong to those who have evolved their competence to anticipate with accuracy and plan with alacrity in a backdrop of ambiguity !!! Rightly, Cushions said..."plan ahead: It wasn't raining when Noah built his ark". We drift without planning to destinations which upon accidental reaching we self-console ourselves and pretend to others that it was exactly what we had originally started in search of.
