It is a strange paradox. CO's invest millions of dollars into advertising making their brand voice heard whereas they totally ignore the critical 'VOEE' (Voice of Exiting Employees) and manage their exits very poorly. Outgoing employees reflect the real mood, temperature and culture of the enterprise. Ensure that exiting employees go out and endorse your brand to the potential talent. They direct potential talent to your 'Entry Gate'. Unhappy exits are costly. Forget endorsing for potential talent, they show 'Exit Gate' & induce existing talent to move on. It is better to reconcile differences and exit with a kiss than ignore differences & part with a blow.
