Learning is an unfortunate victim of structured schooling. Most adults resist learning because their unpleasant memories of early exam-centered studying, internally triggers resistence and builds road-blocks to further learning. Unwieldy bags, huge books, unexplained material, never-ending homework, rote recall testing, structured process, syllabus based growth, long hours..everything that dumps one with knowledge whilst making people resist learning, unfortunately forever.
