So true isn't it ? Once you decide what you want, a determined man will go for it and get it. Full resources, total attempt, full-blast energy , complete dedication and the man can make it happen. Indeed a man can do what he Wills.
However, what you desire and want is not in ones realm of logic . It cannot be logically explained every time why you want what you want.There is no science to it. Some fancy takes over and fulfilling that choice become your end goal.
Thus if you can control your desires thru filters of reasonability and then put all your energies, resources and efforts to achieve it, you certainly will emerge a winner, for sure.
