Each one of us is trapped in the prison of the time frame we live in. It is easier to possibly break away and escape from the real prison manned by Jailors than to secure a break-through from the Prison of time in which we are entrapped by the warm and comforting cohorts of our experiences , knowledge and exposure.
The life that people live and lead is earmarked by fixed patterns developed by our experiences and our familiarity with dominantly prevailing and accepted styles, fashions, tastes, music, literature, food, flavours, drama, customs , tools, practices, norms, knowledge and science prevailing at that time.
Breaking through these experiences is the toughest. Thus most people tend to resist changes as it attempts to take them out from their window of comfort into an unfamiliar zone of discomfort.
Thus change management becomes difficile, ardous and strenous at any point of time.
Very few are able to breakthrough the shackes and entrapments of familiarity. Wisely choose options but evaluate and change as often as you can manage. Barter comfort for future success. Resist the temptation to follow the status-quo for that makes you in the long run, not only lose the race but destroys your capability to cope with changes.
Be the Samson of change ... break the shackles of confort and adopt new patterns each time there is an oppirtunity.
