Weaver Makes The Difference

I get asked - why does my friend 'Vijay' always win and I do not succeed as often when we both are equally able, similarly capable and educated from the same business schools with similar honours having read the same set of books under common professors !
Whilst I do not know this particular 'Vijay' in reference, I can certainly bet that despite many similarities, the perception of this 'Vijay' based on what possibly he has delivered, the value he has created, the trust he has earned in relationships with the people who have commonly transacted with, the reason for his success would be hidden somewhere therein.
You are the weaver of your success as a person and moreso, also as a leader.
The way you think and behave is what makes the difference.
The way we as individuals perceive and interpret the world around us and the narrative we draw from it and absorb based on our experiences, is the way our behaviours, responses and our relationships get shaped. Our career scaling is an outright mirror of that.
Work with an open mindset. Don't think like a prisoner of old thoughts, ideas and concepts. Your choice of weaving is what will indeed make you - the person, in the long run. Think free and work with an open mind only then like a true leader will your perception of the world be positive.
It is your positive perception of the world that will influence the World's positive perception of you. The relationship is mutual.
